AI vs web developer with AI: why not do it yourself with AI?
Design
AI-generated design is fast, but it was the same before the AI era.
Unfortunately, fast often still means poor quality. In the past, you chose a ready-made theme; now you prompt it. The result is the same: a cheap cookie-cutter website.
AI is a tool that, when used well, facilitates and speeds up work, including mine. I use it where it makes sense, combining it with knowledge and experience.
Tools
A website is a dynamic tool, not a static image. Generating traffic, sales, and conversions are not areas to cut corners. If you don’t know how, you can’t tell AI how to do it right.
My approach: I build a website-tool for you that is easy to use and scalable. You won’t need to rebuild the site after six months because a new item was added to the offer.
Texts and graphics
AI handles text well. To create a website, you only write what you must—things neither AI nor I can invent: your offer, contact details, team description. AI expands or shortens this. Then you upload graphics and photos. AI generates the rest.
I additionally verify the texts, and for photos that AI generates poorly, I manually select images from stock photo banks.
Revisions
You stay up late prompting, not even sure if the code looks better or worse after fixes?
A website made this way is a pig in a poke. When I build a site, you only need to check it visually and can be sure it works under the hood. I have 8 years of experience, I know what to watch for, and you get peace of mind.
Security
A failure or security breach? What if you’re panicking while prompt-engineering and the site still doesn’t work? Sensitive company and client data must be protected.
I know how to build secure websites, so attacks are much rarer, and if they happen, I know how to respond because I’ve been through it all.
DIY with AI: >0 hours.
My project: 0 hours.
0 hours of your work
and even 0 hours in case of failure
0 hours of your work
i 0 hours of my work
1 hour of your work
1 hour of my work
Failure
Conclusions
are obvious.
Building a site yourself with AI mainly saves you where you shouldn’t: on the Project, the tools available to you, and above all on security. AI-made sites ready in 2 hours all look cookie-cutter. And the key is to present yourself as an expert, not someone who didn’t bother to make a proper site—how does that reflect on the quality of your services?
Do you know how to structure a website to sell effectively?
Do you trust AI enough to entrust it with your company's communication and sales?
Do you want to look like every project ready in 30 minutes?
What if the site crashes and panicked prompting doesn’t help?
You don’t pay for the mess, emails, and gathering information,
or for someone else to do with AI what you can do yourself.
You pay where it’s worth investing and not worth saving.
A website can be built in a few hours. But its real test begins only when people use it. It’s not just about looks, but also security, reliability, and trust. Because even the best offer won’t help if the customer doesn’t trust the site or can’t complete the purchase.
